Eurozone Inflation Slows in December
Among categories, services recorded the highest annual increase at 3.4% (compared with 3.5% in November).
This was followed by food, alcohol and tobacco at 2.6% (up from 2.4%), non-energy industrial goods at 0.4% (down from 0.5%), while energy prices fell by 1.9% (compared with a 0.5% decline the previous month).
The steepest price hikes were observed in Estonia and Slovakia, both at 4.1%, along with Austria at 3.9% and Croatia at 3.8%.
Meanwhile, the lowest inflation rates were reported in the Greek Cypriot administration at 0.1%, France at 0.8%, and Italy at 1.2%.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices across the eurozone rose by 0.2% in December.
